Hair removal runs on two systems. Cynosure Elite+ is an alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser: the alexandrite wavelength suits fair skin and fine hair, Nd:YAG works where the skin is tanned. MedioStar Next Pro is a diode laser for darker skin and coarse hair. Two systems in one room mean the protocol is chosen for your skin and hair, not for whichever machine is available.
Tanned skin is the usual question in Bali. A tan is not a reason to refuse a session: the wavelength and the energy are picked for your current skin tone, and if the tan is only a few days old, the specialist will say how long to wait.
Laser hair removal works as a course, not a single visit. Hair grows in cycles and the laser only reaches follicles in the active phase, so one session thins the hair rather than removing all of it. The usual course is 8 to 10 sessions with 3 to 4 weeks between them; we plan the schedule and the budget at the first visit.

How to prepare for laser hair removal treatment? Refuse from visiting the beach 10-14 days before the treatment. 2-3 weeks before, you should stop pulling out your your hair in any way (wax, sugaring, tweezers, mechanical epilator, etc.). 1 day before or on the day of visiting the salon, shave your hair with a razor - the procedure is carried out on smooth skin. Just before the treatment, clean the skin on the areas of the body where the epilation will be done - do not use deodorant, foundation, etc.

When you will see the effect? The hair will begin to thin after 2-3 weeks after the procedure. Laser targets only active follicles in anagen hair growth phase. So after your first session you can lost around 20-80% of follicles.

How many sessions? You need to do treatment every 3-4 weeks. The average course is 8-10 procedures. However, it can vary greatly, depending on your individual characteristics of the body. Some people need more, some less.

Care after treatment Do not use epilation procedures that involve removing hair from the root (wax, tweezers, sugaring or mechanical epilator). For 10-14 days, try not to sunbath in the sun, wear long clothes. Use SPF protection cream. After 10 days, we recommend using a body scrub.

It's better for you when you finally get this phase because on the next session laser will target more follicles and you will get rid or unwanted hair.
